What are the minimum and recommended requirements to play SMART D-Net™ Online Training?
The minimum requirements are as follows:
OS: Windows XP SP2
1MB Internet Connection (2MB Recommended)
CPU: 2.0+ GHZ Single Core Processor
System RAM: 512 Mbytes
Video Card: NVIDIA 6200+ (Direct X 9.0c compliant video card with 128MB RAM or better)
Sound Card: 100% direct X 9.0c compatible sound card
Hard disc space: 8GB free space
How do I check my system for minimum requirements?
One good way to check your system (PC windows only) is to run the DirectX Diagnostic Tool. DirectX Diagnostic Tool helps you troubleshoot issues with the DirectX suite of multimedia technologies that come with Windows.
To run DirectX Diagnostic Tool:
Open DirectX Diagnostic Tool by clicking the Start button,
Vista : type dxdiag in the Search box, and then pressing ENTER.
XP : and select the menu item Run In the Run dialog box, type: dxdiag
Will SMART D-Net™ Online Training work on Vista?
It will run on the Vista operating system. NOTE: You may have to manually allow the program to run in UAC. You may also have to manually configure Windows Firewall restrictions to allow SMART D-NET™ Online Training to access the LMS, etc. If this is the case, please ask your system administrator.

I don't have sound/audio on my PC. Can I still complete the training?
It is possible but much of the information given in the program is passed by audio only. So without audio you will find it difficult. We do not recommend you use the program on computers without sound.
Why do I need to have an active internet connection?
An active internet connection is needed for user authentication. It is also needed to the game can save and log your progress and performance stats on our servers.
I can't download the program. My connection keeps timing out.
Please log back into the LMS and click on your course. If the problem persists, please contact either your system administrator or internet hosting provider.
The program is really jumpy and freezes on my computer?
Please refer to the first question in this FAQ list for minimum and recommended system specifications. If your system does not meet the recommended specifications, there is a good chance you will have to adjust some of your video and/or audio settings to achieve better performance. Refer to the 'Game Options' section of this User's Guide for information on how to adjust video and audio settings which may improve the game's performance on your system.
I completed the program and haven't received my certificate?
Log back into the program and click on the 'My Certificates' link in the 'My Courses and Administration' section of the website.
I lost my certificate, can I get a new one?
Send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please provide your user information to assist in locating your account.
I already completed the game; can I continue to use it as refresher training?
No. Once you have completed the program and you have been issued a certificate you will need to obtain a new license to enter the program again. If your service has a subscription account, simply ask your manager to issue you with an additional user account.
